With a quadrant-segment scale giving two ranges, 0–1000 g x 10 g and 0–250 g x 1 g. Switching from one range to the other is done using the pivoted weight arm. Features include a base with a levelling screw for zero adjustment, a removable chrome-plated stainless-steel pan of 130 mm diameter, and a knife-edge pointer. The pan is fitted with a hook underneath for under-pan weighing and density determinations.
