A standard single-pan, low-form triple-beam balance with a weighing capacity of up to 610 g, extended to 2610 g when used with supplementary masses, both with 0.1 g readability. The three-tiered beam balance features a heavy cast-metal base, a removable stainless-steel pan of 150 mm, precision-ground pivots, self-aligning agate bearings, easy zero adjustment, deeply notched beams with centre-reading sliding masses, provision for under-pan weighing, and magnetic damping. The beams are 0–500 g x 100 g, 0–100 g x 10 g and 0–10 g x 0.1 g. The supplementary masses are 2 x 1000 g and 1 x 500 g, which can be stored in the recessed base when not required.
