A highly useful demonstration board for understanding the charging and discharging of capacitors. An external +12 V DC supply charges the capacitors through current-limiting resistors, and the charging curve/time can be viewed on a CRO. Once fully charged, the capacitor can be discharged using a toggle switch (turned towards discharge), and the discharge curve/time can again be viewed on the CRO. The phenomenon can also be shown using the current meter, provided the polarity is connected correctly. Three different combinations of C and R are provided for observing different waveforms.
