This set illustrates the stages of foetal development through pregnancy. Models 1–3 each show one of the first three months; model 4 depicts the foetus in the fourth to fifth month; model 5 shows the breech position; model 6 shows the foetus on its back; and model 7 shows twin five-month-old foetuses in the uterus. Models 4–8 allow a closer look at the anatomical features that have developed. The set is mounted on a base, appropriately coloured and numbered, and supplied with a key card.
