Inverted Tissue Culture Microscope, Superior.

Body:	The binocular observation tube assembled from coated prisms is 30 degree inclined, with eyepiece position 280mm raised above the desk surface for greater comfort to the observer with qadruple revolving turret nosepiece with positive click stops.
Stage: Oversize plain stage 180x150mm with two extension plates 150mm x 65mm for large bottles & microsoft work. Two stage clips are provided in drilled holes to accommodate specimen upto 40mm. A removable central insert gives 65 mm dia stage aperture. Co-axial, cross movement mechanical stage 180x150mm. Low positioned co-axial mechanical stage 180x50mm with three different aperture plates.
Focussing Coarse Focussing: Two large focus knobs located low down at a convenient position assure accurate focusing. The back- lash free rack & pinion mechanism has 18mm range. Fine Focussing: Highly sensitive based on screw-lever mechanism reading to 0.002mm.
Illumination:	Based on Koehler system is provided by a post-mounted high intensity high intensity 6 volts 20 watts Halogen illuminator, powered from base built in variable intensity controlled transformer. The lamp house incorporating a focusable condenser lens with iris diaphragm & filter-carrier is mounted on a pole on which it can be positioned up or down to accommodate any type of culture vessel in a vertical range of 140 mm working distance lens is 20mm
Eyepiece:	HWF 10X (paired) with eye-guards, for genuine wide-field observation.
Objective:	Achromatic 5X, 10X, LWD 20X & LWD 40X. Phase contrast specially designed perfect flat-field objectives with long working distance corrected for bottom thickness of bottles, flasks or chambers
