A precision-quality resistance box built around a rectangular brass block about 10–12 mm (roughly 1/2 inch) thick. Non-inductive, double-covered Eureka constantan wire is wound on a bakelite spool and enclosed in a wooden box. Accuracy is ±0.05% to ±0.1% for the constantan coil and ±0.02% to ±0.05% for the manganin coil.
