The clamping jaws are made from aluminium pressure die-cast alloy, with four cork-lined prongs that grip articles from 2 to 90 mm in diameter. The jaw design ensures a firm hold at all opening angles, and a plated steel thumbscrew tightens the jaws. It is fitted with a 15 cm plated MS rod for mounting on a suitable boss-head, and finished in black powder coating.
