Description and Specification for Lab Tenders
Computerized Tensile Testing Machine.
This machine works on the Constant Rate of Traverse (CRT) principle. The sample is held between two jaws; the upper jaw is stationary while the lower end moves at a known fixed speed via a motor, gearbox and lead-screw arrangement. The load applied on the stationary jaw is sensed by a load cell, which displays the load digitally in newtons and kilograms. Genuine software and an RS-232 port connect it to a PC.
