The Digital Lab is intended for both elementary and advanced training in digital electronics. It covers common digital circuits via solderless interconnections on a breadboard and is also compatible with all optional modules through 2 mm brass terminals and patch cords. Various clock generators, logic-level input/output indicators and DC-regulated power supplies are built in. Housed in an attractive enclosure, it is supplied with a mains cord, patch cords, instruction manual and component set.

Experimental coverage includes: logic-gate operation; verifying De Morgan's theorem; binary-to-Gray, Gray-to-binary and binary-to-Excess-3 conversions; binary adder, subtractor and multiplier; EX-OR gate implementation and applications; Johnson counter; the dual nature of logic gates; study of RS, JK, D and T flip-flops; multiplexer and demultiplexer; 4-bit binary up/down counter; 8-to-3 line encoder; 3-to-8 line decoder; shift register (SIPO); CMOS-TTL interfacing; crystal oscillator; and pulse-stretcher circuit.
