The Fiber Optics Trainer includes one 660 nm fibre-optic LED transmitter and one fibre-optic photo-detector receiver, an on-board sine-wave generator (1 Hz to 10 kHz), analog and digital transmission and reception, 350 kHz analog and 2.5 kHz digital bandwidth, RS-232 communication with a PC, and a voice link using a microphone and speaker.
