A single mild-steel tubular stand is provided with two heating racks, one above the other on the lower section. A fume duct and a heater box are provided for the digestion part, with the heaters having individual ON/OFF switches in the upper portion. Another heater box with a condenser rack made of metal rods and tubes is provided for the distillation part. The complete unit is electrically operated on 220 V AC mains, supplied with cord and plug (without glass parts) and thermostatically controlled by an energy regulator.
