Our chemical fume hoods are made of thick wooden board and are designed to expel all hazardous, corrosive fumes, thereby protecting expensive instruments and the person working in the lab. The exterior is finished with Sunmica and the interior is epoxy-painted. The worktable top is fitted with acid/alkali-resistant tiles and a small washbasin with connections for water inlet and outlet. The front door moves vertically up and down with a counterbalance. The unit is fitted with a fluorescent light and a gas cock for gas/air supply. Standard sizes: 4'/5'/6'/7'/8' x 3' x 3'. The space under the worktable provides storage compartments. The front panel is fitted with a 15/5 A socket with switches for the exhaust system and the fluorescent light.
