Ray Optics and Colour Mixing Box.
The metal box is double-ended so that two groups of students can work independently with the same box. Slide apertures accommodate colour filters for colour-mixing experiments and have blanking plates for when the apertures are not in use. The box is fitted with a 12 V, 24 W straight-filament lamp at the centre, while at each end is a sliding grooved frame to carry a convex cylindrical lens together with a slit screen and/or filter. It has long clear tracks, a triple-slit screen, two blank plates for closing the side apertures when not in use, and 1 m of twin flex. Dimensions 308 x 63 x 115 mm high; supplied without lenses, filters or other accessories.
