The Rotary Vacuuma 5000 is a single-stage non-sparking geared-drive unit, 220 V, with a support stand fitted with a heavy-duty jack arrangement on a stainless-steel rod for positioning the glass assembly. A variable-speed controller, a thermostatically controlled stainless-steel water bath, a double-coiled vertical glass condenser with openings for vacuum and cooling, a trap to support and connect the condenser with the motor unit and receiving flask, and a round-bottomed evaporating flask capacity 5000 ml provided with a rib to connect to the motor, plus a glass vapour-bath tube, round-bottomed receiving-funnel extension and special sealing arrangements throughout — a complete unit.
