A bench-top, pre- and post-vacuum autoclave with automatic temperature control, a self-test before operation, a self-test diagnostic mode, fully automatic steam discharge, and a safety device including a safety valve. It runs automatic sterilization cycles and auto-detects for steam sterilization of glassware and plasticware. Stainless-steel chamber and epoxy-coated chamber cover for greater safety. Clean cycle, dry timer and indicator lights on the panel allow the operator to clearly identify the stage; it has a programmable controller. A safety-locking mechanism prevents opening while the autoclave is under pressure, and a complete control panel is provided at the front. The steam-discharge valve removes cool air and excess steam. The controls are easy to operate: select the cycle and time, then press start. A jointless rubber gasket is provided for leak-proof sealing. Sterilizing temperature is 121°C or 134°C. Operates on 220 V AC supply.
