These are double-walled units with the outer made of mild-steel sheet, suitably epoxy-powder-coated, and the inner made of heavy-gauge 304-grade stainless-steel sheet with a stainless-steel lid. The space between the inner chamber and outer wall is filled with high-grade mineral wool for minimal heat loss. The temperature range from 5°C above ambient to 150°C is controlled by a digital temperature indicator-cum-controller with an accuracy of ±1°C. Provided with a silicone-rubber gasket, vacuum gauge, a see-through toughened-glass window at the door, and shelves. Operates on 220/230 V AC, without a vacuum pump.
