Our laminar air-flow cabinets are designed to meet the requirements of US Federal Standard 209 B (BS 5295), providing particle-free air to meet Class 100 conditions. The cabinets are made of thick board, suitably Sunmica-clad / stainless steel / mild-steel sheet, with epoxy-painted interior surfaces for longer life. The worktable is made of stainless-steel sheet and the side panels of thick clear Plexiglas, suitably framed. The unit is fitted with a pre-filter and passes air through highly effective HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filters with efficiency as high as 99.99% with cold DOP and 99.97% with hot DOP, thereby retaining all airborne particles of 0.3 micron and larger. The working area is illuminated by fluorescent lights, and the height of the worktable gives a comfortable seated working position. Supplied complete with manometer and UV light. The blower-and-motor assembly is statically and dynamically balanced, with an ISI-marked 1/5 HP motor running with minimal noise. Standard sizes: 2'/3'/4'/6'/8' x 2' x 2'.
