The body is made of SS 304. Suitable for general laboratory use as well as for field sterilization of instruments, dressings and so on. A dome-shaped stainless-steel lid seals the autoclave with a neoprene jointless gasket. The working pressure is 1.1 to 1.2 kg/cm² (15–18 psi). The sterilizer is made of stainless-steel sheet deep-drawn to a cylindrical shape; the seamless construction leaves no place for bacteria to accumulate from soil. It is provided with a pressure gauge, spring-loaded safety valve, dead-weight-type safety valve and steam-release valve. The load is held in dressing drums (optional) supported on a tripod stand. The autoclave is hydraulically tested at twice the working pressure as per ISI requirement and is fitted with an ISI-marked heater. Supplied complete with a plug lead. Suitable for 220/230 V, single-phase, 50 Hz AC supply.
