This hot-plate-type heater is used to heat Soxhlet flasks and comprises a mild-steel housing. Six hot plates of 4½' diameter are mounted over the housing and can be operated by an individual ON/OFF switch and rotary switch. The mild-steel housing has two bars with two adjustable cross rods on which the glass apparatus can be fixed. Electrically operated on 220/260 V AC mains with a maximum power rating of 900 watts. The apparatus is supplied without glass parts; order glass parts separately as required.
