The gel rocker can be used for many applications such as gel staining, culture aeration, blotting-membrane work and so on. A rubber mat is provided for a no-slip surface on the platform. The movement is controlled precisely with a DC motor, with a 0–1 hour timer for auto-off within a required time limit. The gel rocker is provided with a 30 x 30 cm platform and has a see-saw type shaking system.
