Description and Specification for Lab Tenders
Submarine Gel Electrophoresis, Student Mechanism.
Submarine electrophoresis in agarose gels is the most efficient way to separate nucleic-acid (DNA/RNA) fragments. In this mechanism the whole gel is submerged beneath the surface of the buffer. This economy model keeps the running cost low. This basic unit, with a fixed platinum-electrode assembly, comprises a perforated lid for vapours, gel plates 5 x 7 cm (2 nos.) and 10 x 7 cm, an 8-well comb 1.5 mm (2 nos.), a 3-well comb 3.0 mm, a comb stand, a connecting cord and an instruction manual.
