Magnetic stirring is achieved by means of a small Teflon rotor which, when placed in the liquid to be stirred, is made to rotate by a magnetic field applied from beneath the container. Capacities: 1, 2, 5 and 10 litres. They are used for continuous stirring and heating of viscous liquids. It is a compact stirring device using a rotating magnetic field (produced by a permanent magnet) which drives variable-speed stirring action.
